All that talk about Wings of Desire recently got me inspired for a wall for Ke's birthday.

My favorite love story as of late is Pride and Prejudice. I can see why Keira Knightley was nominated for an Oscar. Matthew Macfadyen was pretty amazing as well. After I watched it for the first time, I had to watch all the scenes with the two of them in it again (and again ... :D ). The way they look at each other ... ya ya, I know ... probably not so much while filming, but you know, the end result ... whew! Those glances. Sheer perfection! Is it getting hot in here? :)

Hey, I managed to get a birthday wish out on the actual day! An accomplishment I must say! Hope you are doing well Niobe. I thought you might like a flower or two on your birthday. *hugs*

I was meaning to post this on May 15th, but had technical difficulties and time issues. Seems to be the norm as of late. Oh well ...

This sequel was what first got me on the road to my unending Keanu-fandom. My favorite movie of all time remains to be the original Matrix. I like the sequels, but the first one was perfection. Superperfect! Every time I watch it I gush over just how perfect that movie is. I love it!

Looking forward to Scanner and Lake House. Yay @ new Ke movies to see this year!

Free Your Mind!

I had hoped to wish you a happy birthday last week when it actually was your birthday, but never had the chance to do any photoshopping. I hope all is well and that the lack of postings is because your fiance is keeping you busy. *hugs*

... at least we are in my dreams. :) It's short and sweet ...

I was taking some kind of class (many of my 'school' dreams seem to be in my old elementary school building, even when they are university classes ... what is up with that?) and for some reason I had a shopping cart of stuff with me. The stuff wasn't new so maybe they were supplies (or 'baggage'?), but nobody else had a shopping cart full of stuff. Anyways, because of this, I had to sit at the back of the class. The class was over and everyone was getting up to leave. Ke was busy writing something down, so he was still seated. I walked over to him and told him I was leaving to go wait for the bus. And he said, OK, I'll be out there in a minute. I got the feeling that we were not leaving together, but he was going to wait for the bus with me and help me get my shopping cart on. I don't know if this means anything, but I've moved using a shopping cart once ... years ago when I was moving across the street and didn't have very much stuff. Wierd, eh?

I searched the web numerous times and found absolutely nothing about this Fairfax Celebrity Basketball. All I could find was a mention of Fairfax High in the article REEVES’ EDGE by John Griffiths in t&b (US), January 1989:

"Reeves plays basketball at Fairfax High near his LA apartment with whoever is there."

It's added under the 'Other' in Ke's 40th birthday card. It's been awhile since I've added anything to it. I guess I should start thinking about something for 41, since I can't find any quotes on Ke's early films to finish off his 40th. *sigh*

Well, I had another Ke dream [well, he's there, but it's more about the other person in the dream]. So soon since the last one, can you believe it? I think I've figured out the formula for having dreams about him. Just be way too busy to think about him as much as you normally would during the day, do a little Ke surfing before bed and Voila! Here it is:

I was in by boss's office talking when Keanu and Lynn Collins [!!!] popped in to say good-bye to my boss [hey, my boss has been holding out on me!!!] and to ask directions to somewhere, a restaurant I think but the actual destination looked more like the back of a shop. I told them that I could walk them over if they wanted. So the three of us began walking down some back alleys [nowhere close to my work at all] towards the restaurant.

All the while, we are chatting away about the theatre and I'm finding Lynn very knowledgeable and interesting. Since we're walking, I'm not always looking at Lynn when we talk [I guess I'm looking more at Ke, go figure!], so when I occasionally glance over at her, I am struck by the contrast between how how mature the conversation is and how young and child-like her physical body is [which was exaggerated in the dream]. When we arrive at the back of the restaurant, they invite me along, but I decline saying something like "that's ok, you go ahead". I don't want to intrude. And then they go inside and I pause in the alley before I begin my way back to work. Then I was rudely awoken by my alarm.

It's times like these where being able to projectile vomit on demand would come in quite handy [as opposed to spitting or throwing telephones]. :)



When I saw this photo my heart just sank. I don't care how famous you are, you *should* be able to walk down the street without facing this barrage of paparazzi on a daily basis. There should at the very least be a 20 foot rule for these guys. The poor guy can't even get into his car without bumping into a few of them! I'm getting claustrophobic just looking at it.

Well, it finally happened! On Thursday morning I had a dream with Keanu in it [that I can remember]. Of course it's not one of those 'sexy' dreams that everyone else gets to have. More like one of those anxiety dreams, although it didn't turn out too badly. I had this dream before I saw all the recent photos out there. I probably wouldn't have had this particular dream after seeing those. :) Here it is:

I went over to a friend's place to watch a tape of various Keanu events [such as promoting Constantine] and clips of some of his movies, etc. The friend is actually someone I've never met or ever corresponded to, but who is a fan from the online community, so I'll call her friend. She lives in an apartment on the main floor and the patio is open to the street or a courtyard or something.

Anyways, we're watching our tape and she sees Keanu strolling by. So, she says "There he is, there he is. I'm gonna go get him" and I try to talk her out of it because I didn't want him to see us watching a tape about him. So I stop the tape while she goes out and talks to him and invites him in. Even though the tape is not running, the screen is blue so you know that we were watching something.

We're all chatting away very nicely and I'm actually saying stuff that he finds amusing [that was my first hint that it was a dream :D ]. This friend and I are kind of vying to be the most interesting to him [which was total wierdness] so that we will be the one that he asks out for a date [hee]. So he decides to hang out with us and asks what we are watching as he jumps over the couch and sits down [kind of the opposite from the scene in SGG]. We look at each other and don't say anything. He grabs the remote and presses play and sees Constantine promos on the tube. I'm embarrassed, but my friend is not. She laughs about it, but he's looking very seriously at us. Then I say something amusing [which I can't remember] and he smiles. Then I woke up.

P.S. May Keanu drop in again for your birthday ...

Just wanted to let you know krix, that you are dearly missed and hope that you get better soon. You have changed my perspective on radical ... ouch! *hugs*
